The Great Tragus Debate

Posted in Uncategorized on December 17, 2008 by electricdreamsx

OK guys.
This post is basically in reply to this post, after I’ve received a couple of comments telling me to stop being so narrow minded when it comes to tragus piercings.
So this is bascially a Tragus Update. Great, isn’t it?
My friend went ahead and got her piercing, and it looks really wierd. I still think sticking metal through body parts is a bit wierd, wherever they are.
But it looks OK. And then she went and dyed her hair white-blonde, so I moved away from her tragus piercing and started poking fun at her dark roots instead! We’re really good friends.

But yeah, and point about that: “She’s some kind of wannabe,” refers to the whole bit where I said that it was “normal for us two,” not for the fact she’s getting a piercing.

So, yes. I am less narrow minded now. Anyway, I’ve got a new thing to complain about. My sister when and got her lip pierced.
Mwahahha.

Well, it’s all kicked off over here.
I’ve got the day off school because it’s so snowy! Check it out:

Yeahh. I’m not going sledging though. That’s far too scary.

LGFUAD.
Went into Leeds the other day, bought a waist belt (finally) from Blue Rinse. A vintage boutique, how posh am I. Or is that indie. I don’t really know.
It has a butterfly on it and cost me a tenner. Which is better than Topshop, innit.
After that, I bought a MacDonald’s Happy Meal, because I couldn’t afford a full meal, and then I mooched about Topshop, H&M, Urban Outfitters (drewl) and then went home.
Seriously. I love UO. It’s my new favourite shop. Hurahh.

Yes, I’m back, from an odd warm place known as Golden Sands resort, Bulgaria.
We stayed in Hotel Royal, and it truly was “the party hotel”, despite Thomas Cook refering to it as a family holiday, but I loved it!

Friend hate much? Ugh.
You know, it starts off as jealousy and grows and grows. Ouch.
I’m sure everyone in the entire world experiences Friend Jealousy. It’s horrible, isn’t it? The feeling you’re not good enough.
This week has been good, besides that.

Q. Well, hasn’t this week been exciting?
A. No. There’s been a lot of bitchy drama at the moment, so I was happy when it all went back to normal. I’m bored now, of course. Maybe I should stir up some trouble so I have something worth talking about?
It was the usual stuff, you know: girl bitches, another girl tells someone about it, big fight ensues. But don’t worry… apparently it’s ‘all fine’ now. Just sent off for our new passports today. Had our photographs taken in the middle of a shop right by my school. It could have had super embarassing results, but it didn’t, thank God. I look alright, which I’m happy about, because I’m going to have to put up with that “neutral expression” for another five years, until presumably I get an adult passport. I can’t believe they wouldn’t allow this one:

It’s tres neutral, non?

I’m just wasting time now by watching the clouds pass.

I heard that Alexandra got kicked out of the Big Brother house for intimidating and aggressive behaviour. Good on Channel 4 for getting something right!
I’ve also heard that Phoo Action is being made into a television series on BBC3 for early 2009…so, hurray! I can’t wait.

Tidying Update

Is it really the sixth month of the year already? Halfway through. God, I’m really wasting 2008. I’ll have to make up for it, in the Summer, I suppose. Break out, make a ton of new friends. Be exciting and adventurous for once in my life.
Hey, I know it’s not entirely my fault. For a start, I’m barely fourteen, so I can hardly go off gallivanting to places fourty minutes away somewhere that’s only accessible by train with a lot of strangers. I understand why my parents are so cautious of me going somewhere where the last train home is 11.30pm and the gigs finish at 11.45pm. I get it.
I also get that it’s possibly my fault for not getting off my backside and organising things; showing that I am quite responsible, making my own future. I’m going to do it.
Just as soon as I can be bothered.

Don’t go thinking I’m a lazy sod, because I’m not! Check out my totally tidy room, organised three days ago:

A mess-free, spacey haven where I can pose my socks off. Cool, no? Haha, just look at that pout on the bottom photograph!

So yes. It’s been quite a laid-back holiday, which kind of makes me feel like I’ve wasted the time a bit, but like I said, I’ll make up for it in the school Summer holidays! Easy peasy. Go on holiday, make some friends, get more freckles. Wahey.

Well, it’s officially Bank Holiday Monday, and it’s a blustery day, as they’d say in Winnie the Pooh.

No, that’s not a pretty painting, it’s my back garden, taken on my phone from my bedroom window. Of course, you can’t really capture quite how blustery today is. Which is very.
I had to turn down the chance of watching all the Inidana Jones films/24 seasons/Heroes episodes from the very beginning as I have to sort out the mess that is my bedroom. Which is an enormous mess. ENORMOUS. That’s my project for this holiday, as well as making a nice dress from scratch with my mother to help me make clothes when I’m at uni, haha. Anyway, it’s like wading through crap:

Wish me luck!
I’m hoping to save up for a nicer camera soon. I’m sick to death of my Vivitar. Grr. I want a nice cute one that takes nearly professional photographs? Which is probably going to cost me about £300. Great! Not. It will take me a year to save up.
Literally.
But it’s a sacrifice I am willing to make, because I adore professional, sharp-focus cameras, and I’ve got my eye on one.
Ciao for now, as they say in… where do they even say that?
